TweetPhoto – The best Twitter Photo sharing app?

TweetPhoto.com - So with the problems that people are having with TwitPic lately, I thought I would try out different twitter photo sharing sites. One came along that doesn’t do anything really extraordinary, but it does have potential, and that’s called TweetPhoto.

TweetPhoto does everything you would want a Twitter Photo sharing site to do. You can upload pictures to the site, type a quick message, tag the photo and send it to Twitter with a shortened URL. It does a few really cool things, such as geotag your photos if it has any geotags on it, you can see the recent twitter users that use TweetPhoto and have viewed your photo. It even allows you to post your photos to your Facebook profile as a status update. You can also favorite a photo, comment on a photo as well. They also allow you to create a flash widget of your pics/profile to put on your blog/website.

The drawbacks, but what could be additional features later on, is the ability to take a picture with your webcam and upload that to TweetPhoto and also allow you to tag people in the photos for Facebook.

Other than that, the service is good, not great. But it actually works for me, and I actually enjoy it.

So if you’re looking for another Twitter Photo Sharing site and are sick of TwitPic, give TweetPhoto a try.

    Have you tried img.ly?

If you share your photos with http://img.ly/, you could tag people with their twitternames.

I’ve been scouring the net for a good photosharing app too, and when I found Tweetphoto I was hooked. It’s the only site i’ve found that lets you geotag your pics (which I love). The only problem is that the only app that I found that includes Tweetphoto is Pocketwit. It’s a decent program, but it isn’t beautiful.

I am still trying to find the right app that includes Tweetphoto…/cry

The only site that allows Geotagging and looks good doing it…is Tweetphoto. The sites that have been shared here don’t do it.

I have decided that I will use Pocketwit (the quick way) to update pics with geotagging, but use moTweets for actual browsing.

It’s quite a daunting task to find something good out there, but I think I’ve been able to mix n’ match the best of both worlds. :)
