Ad.ly Adds Analytics To Twitter Ad Platform
By Staff Writer – John Federico (@gadgetboy)

There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding advertising in individual users’ Twitter streams. Two of the services that have gotten the most attention are Izea’s Sponsored Tweets and Ad.ly. Both offer a way to bring advertisers and Tweeters together but yesterday, Ad.ly has raised the bar.
Working with PeopleBrowsr, Ad.ly introduced analytics into their platform for both advertisers and Twitterers. I ran some stats on my account and have shared the results below.
Clicking ‘About This’ at the bottom of the reports provides you with a definition and rationale for each.
What I find most interesting is their offer of a premium version. For $9.99 per month (or $99.99 a year), you can keep up-to-date with Twitter metrics like Sentiment Analysis, Individual Follower Engagement, Detailed Location Reports and a larger list of Your Most Influential Followers.
Other reputation management services offer this type of analytics capability for much more, so if the data and reports are compelling, that price is a steal.
You can learn more about Ad.ly Analytics at Analytics.Ad.ly.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been looking for something like this. I check analytics data every day for my blog and sites and learn a lot from this data.
It will be very interesting to start tracking my Twitter analytics. Definitely can help me make sure I stay on-track and keep my followers engaged.
