Dude, I Am Not Going to a Library
By Senior Editor – Kris Smith (@croncast)
I’m not going to second guess your decision or nerd cred. You like it digital and that’s the way that it its.
You like your comfy life and the zone you’re in.
Then you are in luck my nerd friend – the Technology Liberation Front has put together “The Digital Decade’s Definitive Reading List: Internet & Info-Tech Policy Books of the 2000s.”
It is a power list of books to keep you nerdy, give you a retrospective of the thoughts that powered tech culture and the later years share a vision of our digital future. The same one you are helping to shape.
The post breaks down the books by year. Which is nice since it helps to give some context as to what the book might hold in the way of ideas. But don’t judge a book or list by the year it was published. There are plenty of heavy hitters on this list.
What is missing are over hyped anthems like Clue Train and anything social media. So you can feel safe in reading these that you are not going to be pressured to tweet about it or join a conversation.
Head on over and get this list – you won’t regret finding some gems in this digital decade of readership.
