The Habits of Good Internet Surfing

If there is such a thing as good Internet surfing habits, I don’t think I have them. I couldn’t find what I was looking for last night. Google has set my expectations high. Anything I think can be found online, regardless if there’s any truth to it or not. As more clutter clogs our access to information, it can make surfing the Internet frustrating — like hair pulling, face punching frustrating.
Unless the subject or company has been written about in the last couple of days, you’ll likely have to dig through mounds of poo to find what you are looking for. Twitter made us realize we could now have real-time search, so now companies like Collecta has made content have a shelf-life of a split second.
Should I hire a Internet surfing coach? Is there such a thing? There certainly seems to be plenty of social media people that will help you improve your online social skills. But there is no training program on how to be a great Google surfer, now is there?
